Product Features

The Censeo Assessment System © is a modern personal computer based testing program. It is ideal for screening job applicants based on individual patterns of cognitive skills and personality traits/interests.

WHAT does it do?

The Censeo Assessment System permits organisations to assess candidates using occupationally referenced test programs based upon seven essential skill areas. There are additional inventories for individual levels of occupational interest, and to provide a profile on six fundamental dimensions of personality.

Today, more than at any time in the past, test compromise and coaching are major problems in tests only having one form. The Censeo Assessment System is unique in that it offers parallel versions in the two most sensitive of the three test groups, abilities and personality. These mulitple forms ensure that the test items have not been compromised through over-exposure or by coaching based on knowledge of individual items.

If candidates are retested, they are assessed by new test forms and by second-chance or retest standards to ensure fairness and equity.

No other system operating today offers all of these safeguards for the user.

WHERE can it be used?

The Censeo Assessment System can be used, and has been used in many areas including:

  • Commercial Organisations
  • Recruitment Organisations
  • Government Bodies
  • Millitary
  • Police Service
  • Civil Service
  • Education System
  • Prison Service

The tests were designed from the outset to be secure and to be fair to gender groups and minorities.

HOW can it help?

The fact that the tests are computer-based will enable organisations to quickly and accurately test and process candidates. Individual and group results are immediately available, if necessary, at the end of each testing session. The reduction in time spent in waiting for results and on administration has resulted in large cost savings.

WHAT are the benefits?

The main benefits to organisations are the signifiicant cost savings that accrue from the computer-based aspects of the system. The cost of using the system is related to the number of candidates to be teated and the number of tests used. Nevertheless, savings of more than 50%  have been reported over conventional paper-and-pencil and hand-scored alternatives.

These new tests are pc based in Windows (either on a stand-alone computer or on small networks of up to 30 stations). The use of 21st century technology means that the system matches the modern image of many organisations, especially those who no longer wish to use the conventional tests which have been on the market for up to 50 years and are now dangerously compromised. The Censeo Assessment System conform to the highest known professional psychometric standards at low cost to the user.
